how would you describe the look of your home?

It’s new world meets old world with a bunch of things made by hand. Lots of light, lots of texture, lots of plants.

whats your favourite thing in your home?

The clean white walls! They are the best blank canvas and reflect so much light. After living in a rental with buttery yellow walls for years, it’s something I really appreciate.

what are you loving right now?

All of the seasonal blooms. Dogwood, figs, magnolia. Love!

coffee tea or?

Coffee if I’m out, tea if I’m at home.

So many things. Linen sheets from In Bed, a stump stool from Greg Hatton,  wire baskets from Fog Linen… I could keep going!

Visiting farmers or vintage markets.

Saturday for sure. Saturday morning down time with coffee and the mister is always a highlight of the week. Especially if we have no where to be.

Mr Kitly

Ruckers Hill on a nice night when the food trucks are out.

New York Cheesecake. It’s a family favourite from a recipe book I stole from my mum (yes mum, I still have it!)

Pear cider

I follow the work of an artist called Zachary Smith, and he once said ‘Find Joy in the Journey’. This is something that has stuck with me, taking time to slow down and enjoy the little things.

what are you working on right now?

At the moment I am wrapping up the Kinfolk workshop The Brainery Store and I hosted so we can share the film and photos. I am also planning a few collaborations with some creatives I really admire.

I am inspired by all the work Kinfolk does, as well as creatives like Beth Kirby and and Parker Fitzgerald.

Finishing things. Being able to look back at it be happy with how something turned out and knowing there is now room to start something new.
