Im proud to be one of the Ambassadors for Wayside – An organisation that helps those in less fortunate situations

With community services centres in both Kings Cross and Bondi, youth space and outreach service, mental health program, twilight team, community cafe and our Aboriginal project are all designed to ensure the most disadvantaged members of our community have access to essential health, welfare, social and recreational services.

Each year, thousands of people visit Wayside for assistance in gaining equitable access to essential health, welfare and related services. In the last year alone, Wayside provided, amongst other services, 7,680 community meals, 6,776 changes of clothing, 14,100 hours of support to people with a long-term mental health issue, and 1,991 social and recreational activities for the whole community to participate in. People purchased over 86,100 low cost items in our café, there were 6,699 instances of support for youth at risk and8,703 members of the community visited Wayside to learn more about our work.
