in the sand

Ever since I was a small boy I have loved walking thru the bush or along the beach collecting presents from nature that catch my eye, arranging them on the ground until I like the composition and sometimes photographing them but then leaving them behind…

Today trying something new without over thinking / styling things

Here’s my encaustic tile collection “ New Paradise” in the sand  available from Di Lorenzo tiles

“New Paradise” my tile collection with Di Lorenzo

Have you heard the news! I have just launched my first encaustic tile collection “New Paradise” with the awesome team at Di Lorenzo

I love colour its a part of who I am as a designer and stylist you see plenty of it in my work, my books and my home. I’m always constantly inspired by nature, be it the lush bushland riverside or magical ocean pools and beaches “ New Paradise” is my debut encaustic tile collection and is inspired by my life and love between Bondi and Byron Bay (Paradise -my happy places) You will find subtle, muted pretty shades and neutrals all my favourite shades, the tiles come in 7 beautiful shades and 4 shapes –  ash ( dark grey) leaf (green) peonie (soft pink) deep sea (indigo blue) sky fall (pale sky blue) sand (light silver grey) quartz (steely grey) in square, hexagonal, mini brick and diamond shapes.

These tiles are all handmade and are perfect for any space, great for your kitchen or bathroom walls and floors. They are available in multiple shapes allowing the specifier to create endless colour and pattern combinations or you can play it safe in one shade, really you’re only limited by your imagination.
