Willie Weston create art pieces that fuse form and function. They utilise clean, modern design to showcase the work of Australian Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists as part of our collections of indoor and outdoor furnishing pieces. We work with artists and their agents to bring together artwork for our collections, and these relationships ensure all artists are fairly remunerated for the use of their work. Artwork is digitally printed in limited runs, maintaining the integrity of the artists and ensuring the exclusivity of each Willie Weston piece.
Prior to launching Willie Weston, co-founders Jessica Booth and Laetitia Prunetti both completed Masters degrees in Art Curatorship and developed careers in the visual arts. Laetitia was most recently Co-Director of the Melbourne Art Fair and Jessica worked as a researcher and writer specialising in Australian Indigenous art. These experiences fostered their love of Australian art and their desire to support artists. Recognising an opportunity to bring the work of great Australian artists to a sophisticated design audience, Willie Weston was born.
Willie Weston is committed to manufacturing locally. All pieces are designed and made in Australia from premium materials. Our steel furniture frames are zinc and powder coated and our fabrics are mould, mildew and water repellent, making Willie Weston pieces perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
